タテ糸はコーマコットンで糸節がないのでキレイに揃っているのですが、ヨコ糸にリネンのスラブヤーンを使うので、横方向にリネンの糸柄が入ります。
綿100％だと逆にポリエステルの様なきれいな生地面になりますが、リネンを使うことによって生地に表情が加わります。
風合いはパンツやコートに良さそうな20番手くらいのツイルの感じです。
一度洗うと品のあるシワ感が現れると思います。

The warp is combed cotton. The warp is combed cotton and the weft is linen yarn.
The warp is combed cotton and has no knots, so the yarns are beautifully aligned, but because linen slub yarn is used for the weft, the linen yarn pattern appears in the horizontal direction.
The use of linen adds expression to the fabric, whereas 100% cotton would give a beautiful polyester-like surface.
The texture has the feel of a 20 count twill that would be good for pants or coats.
Once washed, it will have an elegant wrinkled appearance.
