こちらも別注生地。リネンとコットンを混紡した糸を杢糸で作ってからオックスフォード織りで仕上げた生地になります。

杢糸＝ミックス糸＝トップ糸　等とも言われ、いわゆるチャコールグレーの糸です。イメージとしては白色のリネン原料と黒色の綿花を絶妙なバランスで撚って糸にすると、この様な糸ができるわけです。

で、ここからがすごいんですがオックスフォードで織ってあります。オックスフォード織りは生地を洗うととてもいいシワ感が出ます。大好きです。

でも、薄っぺらい生地では無いのでパンツとかあのボトムスや上着とかに適しています。シャリ感があって夏でも快適そうです。透けないっす。

155 width linen cotton top yarn (mixed yarn) Charcoal gray

This is another special order fabric. This fabric is made of linen and cotton mixed yarn with a wooden yarn, and then finished with an oxford weave.

Mokuro yarn = mixed yarn = top yarn, etc. It is a charcoal gray yarn. In this image, white linen and black cotton are twisted in a perfect balance to make this kind of yarn.

And here comes the amazing part: it is woven with oxford. Oxford weave gives a very nice wrinkled look when the fabric is washed. I love it.

But it is not a flimsy fabric, so it is suitable for pants, bottoms, and jackets. It has a crisp feel and looks comfortable even in summer. It is not transparent.

80% cotton, 20% linen.
