平織りの丈夫な生地に撥水ワックスを染み込ませた生地になります。
この生地はワックスオイルが染み込んでいる為、撥水効果があり、イギリスでは狩猟時の時に着るハンティングジャケットに用いられる素材。
今ではゴアテックスなどの高機能素材が多い中、ワックスを染み込ませて撥水・内側の湿気を発散する効果も期待できる古来からある伝統的な生地かと思います。 この生地私が好きなので・・
* 生地にワックスオイルを染み込ませてあるのでベタつきますが、使っていく間に自然にオイルが徐々に取れてきて、色目が明るくなってゆきます。また、シワが入ったり負荷がかかった部分にチョークマーク（白線）などが現れます。オイルが徐々に落ちていき、チョークマークが入ることによって素敵な素材感が現れます。オイル生地を育てていくといった観点でご購入されることをお勧めいたします。
* 発送時どうしても負荷がかかります。生地を畳んだ後のシワ跡・チョークマーク・線が入ります。予めご了承ください。

This is a durable plain weave fabric impregnated with water-repellent wax.
This fabric has a water-repellent effect because it is impregnated with wax oil, and in England, this material is used for hunting jackets worn when hunting.
While today there are many high-performance materials such as Gore-Tex, I think this is a traditional fabric that has been around since ancient times, soaked in wax and expected to be water-repellent and to dissipate moisture inside. This fabric I like because...
* The fabric is soaked in wax oil, so it will be sticky, but as you use it, the oil will naturally come off gradually and the color will lighten. Also, chalk marks (white lines) will appear where the fabric has been wrinkled or loaded. As the oil gradually dries off and the chalk marks appear, a nice texture appears. We recommend that you purchase from the viewpoint of growing up the oiled fabric.
* The fabric will inevitably be subjected to a load during shipping. After the fabric is folded, wrinkle marks, chalk marks, and lines will appear on the fabric. Please understand this beforehand.
