コットンのサテン織りになります。

サテンってピカピカしたイメージですが、80番手という細番手の糸を使うと生地が薄手ということも合ってピカピカはしないんです。

生地の風合いの仕上げは天日干し加工（実際には天日で干してません！良くメーカーが使う手　タンブラー乾燥しています）

でも風合いいいです。ブラウスやシャツ。生地面がツルッとしてフォーマルな感じの印象を受けます。

手染めにも対応できる仕上げにしてありますので、染作家様にもオススメです！

80-Count Satin, Sun-Dried Vintage Wash, Off-White [SN8422B]

This is a cotton satin weave.

Satin usually has a glossy appearance, but because this fabric uses fine 80-count yarn and is relatively lightweight, it doesn’t have that glossy sheen.

The fabric’s texture is achieved through a “sun-dried” finish (it’s not actually dried in the sun! This is a common trick manufacturers use—it’s tumble-dried).

Still, it has a lovely texture. Perfect for blouses and shirts. The smooth surface gives it a formal look.

It’s finished in a way that allows for hand-dyeing, so we highly recommend it to dye artists!
